Dr. Arvind Kumar Gupta – Director
Born and brought-up in Sonepat city of Haryana State of India, completed his B.Sc. in 1981. Thereafter, he did his M.Sc.(Physics with Electronics) and M.Tech.(Microwave Electronics) , both from University of Delhi in the year 1983 and 1987 respectively. He joined as Scientists in DRDO (Defence research and Development Organisation, a premier R&D organisation under Ministry of defence of Govt. of India) in 1987. There he worked on high frequency devices and simultaneously completed his Ph.D. in mm-wave devices from University of Delhi in 2002. He published several research papers in National/International conferences and International Journals on 94 GHz devices which have been widely cited in the scientific community. Some of the research papers have been referred in the data of website maintained by NASA.
He has two decade of experience of RF evaluation of waveguide based 94 GHz devices(IMPATT Oscillator, Gunn Oscillator, SPST switch, C-band Phase Shifter etc.) and one decade experience of managing HR activities of technical and scientific manpower. Apart from this he also has the three years experience of Technology Management by integrating Govt. Research institutes with Academia and Industry.
After superannuating from DRDO in 2021, he is now disseminating his rich experience of microwave field through Clearvista Microwave Enterprises Private Ltd.
